ACID is delighted to announce a close working relationship with the British Library who has a fantastic IP resource at the Business and IP Centre housed in the British Library. SME’s looking to develop new products and services can access patents novelty searches through “Espacenet” via the European Patent Office website allowing patents to be searched internationally by a number of different search terms. Registered design searches can be accessed through a database known as Design Finder allowing searches across all authorities in a single step. Similarly trade marks searches can be carried out through “Optics” the British Trade Mark Registry image collection in the UK. Up to 2 hours free research and attendance at various IP workshops are just some of the many valuable benefits available.

For more information about who is eligible for this free research, telephone 020 7412 7903 or email research@bl.uk
